Full Job Description
We are seeking a committed, creative, and passionate Construction Lecturer to teach students who have enrolled on to an Entry Level Vocational course. You will deliver engaging, student-centred learning that supports students to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours in preparation for their chosen next steps.
This position is integral to fostering an inclusive environment within our college. As a key advocate for our students, you will collaborate with both curriculum and support staff to provide high-quality, person-Centred support that addresses individual learning barriers and enhances the student experience. You will need to work with external agencies and have a sound awareness of opportunities across our communities.
Your responsibilities will be to plan and deliver an engaging and nurturing curriculum across the academic year. In this role you will contribute to a culture of high-quality, trauma informed support delivery that is responsive, flexible and aligned with our College's aspirations for all our students. Your support will be crucial in promoting an inclusive, educational experience that empowers our students to thrive.
We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities. Further future investment in our estates is now allowing us to provide the best possible outcomes for our students and local communities, delivered by our fantastic community of colleagues.
At City of Bristol College, we have one goal: to help our students succeed. We offer the widest range of academic and vocational qualifications in the area, with more than 1,000 courses available from entry to degree level and we provide education and training to approximately 10,000 students each year.
