Full Job Description
The School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (SPCS) within the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Biomedical Signal Processing who will join Queen Mary School Hainan (QMSH), QMUL's latest transnational education partnership in PR China.
This post will be on a Teaching and Research contract and the postholder will be expected to develop and deliver teaching, conduct excellent research of international standing in the field of Biomedical Engineering and contribute to the administration of QMSH. This post is based in London and the postholder will be required to travel to China to deliver block teaching.
You should have a PhD in Physics, Maths, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. Having excellent subject knowledge and teaching experience, you should be able to design, develop and deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in digital signal and image processing, biomedical signal processing and data science. You should have a strong research profile and clear and ambitious plans for future research activities in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
