Lecturer: Digital - Prison Education

As a Digital Lecturer, you will be actively engaging prison-based learners through the delivery of creative classes and engaging resources. You will be teaching a range of digital programmes for those requiring upskilling in ICT and those who are interested in building digital skills for business and life. Many of the learners have a diverse range of needs and learning abilities and they will often have had a negative experience with education. As a successful digital Teacher, you will truly inspire them and provide learners with a positive learning experience that can make a difference, not only within their present situation, but also in the future. This role will involve working with learners from all backgrounds and within different settings, either classroom-based or in smaller groups in other locations across the prison. You will be connecting with learners in a professional manner, supporting them with their learning, enabling them to achieve success through not only qualifications, but developing the confidence and softer skills that they can apply to employment as well

Contractual hours: 25.5 Package: 38 days leave plus bank holidays, Generous pension, Development opportunities, NUS discount, We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with learners to inspire and motivate them. The average class consist of 10 learners, and the sessions are approximately 3 hours long. Your lessons will need to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative. OUR BENEFITS
