Lecturer / Course Tutor in Agriculture


Location: Hereford, Herefordshire


Salary: Up to £38,066


Contract: Permanent

As part of the ongoing development and growth of the Agriculture and Land-Based provision at our Holme Lacy campus, we are seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Course Tutor in Agriculture.


Salary: Up to £38,066 depending on qualifications and experience


Start Date: 1st August 2026


To deliver a range of agriculture subjects to our full-time student cohorts, up to and including Level 3. Subject areas to be covered could include machinery operations, livestock production, and/or crop production both practical and classroom based. Specific areas to expertise to be discussed at interview.


As part of the role, you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational / administrative processes including preparation and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons, marking and assessment of student work, and course tutorship responsibilities. Industry experience is essential along with relevant qualifications. A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential, as training will be offered to the right candidate. Importantly you will demonstrate a passion for motivating and encouraging young people to achieve the best of their ability, helping them to maximise their potential to progress onto further study within this sector.
