Full Job Description

As Lecturer in Art & Design, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of creative courses at our main college and community sites. You will support students to achieve, progress and succeed, while contributing positively to curriculum development and continuous improvement.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and the Senior Curriculum Manager to ensure an inclusive, student-centred learning environment that reflects industry practice and meets national requirements., Teach and assess learners across a range of Art & Design programmes

Act as a personal tutor/course coordinator for a designated group of students

Prepare schemes of work, learning plans and assessment materials

Track learner progress, provide regular feedback and tutorial support

Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes

Support admissions, induction, enrolment and student tracking processes

Liaise with employers and external agencies regarding placements and progression

Maintain accurate course records and assessment documentation

Teaching experience within a learning environment

Relevant degree (or equivalent) in Art & Design or a related creative discipline

Teaching qualification

Relevant creative industry experience

Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills
