We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Brentwood to assist with the appointment of a Leasehold Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The role of a Leasehold Officer is to support its housing team. The role will involve leasehold management, including handling lease extensions, Section 20 consultations, and managing remortgaging and leasehold information packs. You will also need to visit properties in the area, so a valid UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle are required., Manage leasehold cases including lease extensions and remortgages
Handle Section 20 notifications and leasehold enquiries
Prepare and manage leasehold information packs
Provide support with Right to Buy (RTB) cases
Engage with residents and stakeholders as needed

General knowledge and experience in leasehold management
Understanding of Section 20 processes and lease extensions
Experience dealing with leasehold packs and remortgaging
Familiarity with Right to Buy processes is desirable
Must have a drivers licence and car for site visits
