Full Job Description
As a Learning and Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across the school, working closely with teachers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality learning experiences. You will provide tailored support for individuals and small groups, contribute to interventions, and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.,
- Support pupils' learning, social development, and wellbeing, including those with SEND and EHCPs
- Work alongside teachers to deliver classroom learning and targeted interventions
- Support pupils during lessons, break times, lunch times, and enrichment activities
- Assist in preparing learning materials, displays, and classroom resources
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Provide whole-class cover when required
- Assist with assessments and provide feedback to staff and parents as directed
- Participate in training, CPD, and school development activities
- Accompany pupils on trips and out-of-school activities when required
