Full Job Description
Cundall Manor School is a thriving independent co-educational school for pupils aged 2-16, located in a beautiful rural setting near the North Yorkshire Moors, with excellent transport links to York, Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk.
The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, nurturing and inspirational Learning Support HLTA to join our Senior School from September 2026.
This is a full time position which carries the expectation that the successful candidate will demonstrate a significant experience in supporting GCSE Maths to a high level. The role will be initially offered on a fixed term one year basis, but will be reviewed toward the end of the academic year 2026/27.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of classroom support across Key Stage 3 & 4 and a strong understanding of how children learn and flourish academically, socially and emotionally. A passion for supporting engaging and creative lessons, together with the ability to inspire high standards in pupils, is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a warm and positive approach, and a willingness to contribute fully to the wider life of this busy and vibrant school community. An enthusiasm for creative arts, sport, outdoor learning and enrichment activities would be highly valued.
The role includes responsibilities to support the pastoral wellbeing and academic progress of pupils, and contributing to the school's rich co-curricular programme, including Saturday Activities, educational visits and whole-school events.
In return, we offer a friendly and inclusive working environment. Our benefits package includes a competitive salary, a generous contributory pension scheme, and free lunch and refreshments during term time.
