Full Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen, for enthusiastic, caring and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our successful team supporting students in the classroom environment. These roles are fixed-term contracts until 31^st August 2027. These roles would suit candidates who are personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- The ability to communicate with other members of staff effectively
- The ability to build a strong professional relationship with the pupils and their families
- Assisting pupil achievement by monitoring learning against learning outcomes, informing the teacher of progress/problems
- Good organisational skills
- Good behaviour management skills
- Good basic English and Mathematics (GCSE Level 4 - 9 or equivalent)
- Good record keeping skills (Progress and medical where required)
- A passion for the impact teaching and learning can have on improving pupil outcomes
- A commitment to supporting the delivery of education of the highest standard
