Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a compassionate, resilient, and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Rochdale from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to support students with additional needs, particularly those with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challenges, ADHD, or autism, and help them thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role:

• Work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils across KS3 & KS4


• Provide emotional and behavioural support to pupils who need it most


• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons


• Help create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment

Who We're Looking For:

• Whether you're an experienced teaching assistant, a psychology/education graduate, or someone with a background in care or youth work - we want to hear from you!


• Enthusiastic and proactive


• Experience with SEN/SEMH or a strong desire to learn


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• Able to build trust and positive relationships with young people


• Committed to inclusion and promoting student well-being
