Learning Support Assistant (SEMH)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)? A therapeutic, nurturing secondary school in Southampton is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This specialised setting provides a holistic and therapeutic approach to education, supporting pupils who may struggle to thrive in mainstream environments.

You must have previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs. We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including:

  Hours: 8:15am - 3:30pmContract: Full-time or 4 days per weekStart: As soon as possibleLocation: SouthamptonInitial Contract: Via Teaching Personnel, with opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract after probation, Support pupils with SEMH needs in both 1:1 and small-group settings

• Build positive, trusting and consistent relationships with pupils
