Full Job Description
We're currently looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our team and support primary schools across Cardiff from September 2026. What does a Learning Support Assistant actually do? No two days are ever quite the same! You'll work closely with teachers and other staff to help create a positive environment where children feel supported, included and confident in their learning. Some of the things you may be involved in:
- Supporting pupils with their learning, either 1:1 or as part of a small group.
- Helping the class teacher with activities, resources and general classroom support.
- Working with children who may need some extra help to stay focused and engaged during lessons.
- Supporting pupils during different parts of the school day, including group work, outdoor activities and transitions between lessons.
