Learning Support Assistant / Mid-day Meals Supervisor

• Ensuring all children, including those with special educational needs, are supported and challenged appropriately, As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning and care for children, including those with Special Educational Needs. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Supporting children's learning through scaffolding, guided play, group work, and one-to-one interventions
• Monitoring children's progress, observing, recording, and assisting in assessments
• Supporting the personal, social, emotional, physical development of children
• Promoting positive behaviour and a caring, respectful classroom environment
• Working with pupils with additional needs (SEND) to ensure inclusion
• Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to plan and review interventions
• Helping maintain an organised, stimulating, safe learning environment

• Preferably has experience working with young children
• Have a minimum qualification of Grade C GCSE for Maths and English, or equivalent (NVQ Level 3 desirable)
• Demonstrates warm, caring interpersonal skills and a genuine love of working with young children
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, parents and staff
• Can adapt to individual children's needs and use differentiated approaches
• Is proactive, flexible, reliable and a good team player
• Shares and upholds Christian values and is willing to contribute positively to our school ethos
• Is committed to ongoing professional development
