We are looking to appoint a kind, patient, positive individual to the role of Learning support assistant with some Midday assistant responsibility. The role involves supporting pupils with their learning, development and social emotional needs, in line with school policies and procedures. Some experience or knowledge of the 'Six Core Strengths Curriculum' would be valuable. We are looking for a person who: remains calm under pressure, is resilient and caring is able to provide an inclusive environment is enthusiastic about working with children is able to think on their feet and try new things is an effective communicator with pupils and staff is able to build and maintain effective relationships demonstrates excellent positive behaviour management techniques possesses good Literacy and Numeracy skills We are a school with

Hours: Part-time, term-time only Contract: Monday to Friday 8.30 - 12.30 and lunchtimes 12.30 - 1.00 Salary: Essex Local Government Pay Scale Point 6 - LSA / Point 4 MDA Actual salary: £16,003 per annum
