LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Current pay scale: £24,404 - £25,183 per annum (2025-2026 NJC pay award pending) 39 weeks Full Time Term Time working plus 13 weeks' paid holiday
We are currently seeking to employ highly motivated and professional Learning Support Assistants to join our established team. Duties include supporting Key Stage 3 and/or 4 students in a range of learning situations both in school and within the community.
Successful candidates will have:
- GCSE level education (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics Grade 4 (formerly C) or above (essential);
- An interest in and experience:
- of working within either an educational setting or youth and community work environment (essential);
- in providing classroom support in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects (desirable);
- of working with students with ASC (desirable);
- A full driving licence and be eligible (at least 21 years of age and 2 years' driving to meet insurer's requirements) and willing to drive a school vehicle to transport students to community based activities (essential).
Closing date: Monday, 30th June 2025, 12 noon. Interviews/assessment centre will take place on Tuesday, 8th July 2025
