Learning Support Assistant - Apprenticeships

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about enabling learners with identified learning differences to access the college environment, to include academic support, pastoral support and communication for learners to realise their potential.

Successful candidates will possess experience of working in learning support with SEN Learners, ideally within the FE sector. You will display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for promoting independence for young people, a commitment to the well-being of all learners and a passion for constantly improving their learning experience.,

  We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work at Hertford Regional College within their Apprenticeship Team to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at HRC's state of art facilities in Broxbourne, HRC are a vibrant, dynamic further education college, recently graded a Good College by Ofsted, with students across two campuses, with ambitious growth and development targets.

The roles are based on a working day of 9am to 4.30pm with a one-hour lunch break, term time only. 2-3 days per week. The rate of pay is £16.00 per hour including holiday pay. Starting September 2026, term time only on an ongoing temporary contract basis.
