What You'll Do
Working under the guidance of our SENDCo and class teachers, you will:
- Support individual pupils and small groups through tailored interventions (e.g., reading, maths, or language support)
- Assist teachers in classroom management and adapt learning materials to individual pupil needs. Help pupils build confidence, concentration, and independence
- Maintain a safe, encouraging, and positive environment inside and outside the classroom
- Contribute to broader school life, which may include involvement in sports, drama, or music
Training Outcome
This is a fixed-term position for the duration of the apprenticeship, however dependent on the pupil requirements and needs once the candidate is qualified, there may be opportunity to apply for a permanent role or contract extension.
