Learning Support Assistant


Would you like to work as part of our outstanding learning support team?


We have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant working in class and on a 1:1 basis with children in school.


GCSE (grade C or above or the equivalent) in English and maths is essential and some competence in using a computer would be an advantage.


You will be given training and, as part of a team, be well supported in your work. Working in a primary school environment requires flexibility, adaptability and a dedicated desire to work with children.


A job description, person specification and a Catholic Education Service support staff application form is available from the school office or on the website. Applications will only be accepted on the Catholic Education application forms.


We will be considering applications as received and may close the position earlier if a suitable candidate is found.
