- Support pupils with complex needs across a range of subjects
- Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Provide pastoral support and contribute to pupil's wellbeing
- Assist with supervision duties and wider school activities where required
Ipswich High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to deliver targeted interventions with small groups of pupils, or, on an individual basis. Candidates should possess a good standard of education, initiative and an ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and pupils. A good level of English, Maths and ICT is essential, as is a caring and patient nature.
Hours of Work: Full Time (30 hours per week) or Part Time available, 34 weeks per year (term time plus 4 inset days)
