Learning Support Assistant

The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) is one member of a team of professionals that will include all education colleagues. The team works together to care for and educate the pupils in the school. An LSA makes a specific contribution to their specific subject area and / or curriculum contribution to the school teaching and learning programme. This role also incorporates a Midday Assistant role and After School Club Leader, where you will take care and control of all the children on the school premises during the lunch break and after school., Please note that we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils and expect all those who work with us to share this commitment. Successful applicants will need to undertake a DBS Enhanced Clearance check (Disclosure and Barring Service). All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
