Full Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference and looking for a rewarding role in a school environment? The Bulmershe School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our highly successful SEND team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself into campus life and gain invaluable experience working with a wealth of expertise. You will join a friendly and supportive team of 15 staff, based in our dedicated SEND department. We pride ourselves on our superb facilities and our adaptable, student-centred approach. In this role, you will be a vital advocate for our students, ensuring that student voice remains at the heart of every lesson.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential in-class support for students with a range of special educational needs, with a particular focus on those with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Whether you are helping neurodivergent students build their independence, leading small group interventions, or supporting students with SEMH needs during their re-integration into lessons, your work will directly impact their confidence and progress. This is a role for someone who values relationship-building and is eager to engage in ongoing professional development within a dedicated and welcoming community.
The Bulmershe School is a heavily oversubscribed school which sits at the heart of our community. We are a mixed Corvus Learning Trust Academy school of 1,500 students, who come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We work closely with our parents, partners and feeder schools to achieve the best outcomes for all of our students.
