Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant (Level 2) to join our dedicated team at Meadows First School. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment, helping pupils to thrive both academically and emotionally. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers and the wider staff team. You will play a key role in supporting pupils, including those with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.,

• Support pupils' learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Deliver targeted interventions and small group support
• Help to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Support the social, emotional and behavioural development of pupils
• Assist with preparing resources and classroom organisation
• Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to the wider life of the school
  
  Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Has experience working with primary-aged pupils
• Demonstrates patience, flexibility and strong communication skills
• Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
• Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting pupils with additional needs
