Learning Support Assistant

4 days per week

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistants to work primarily at our senior site in Lichfield, who has the potential to work across all year groups from Year 5 to Year 13 where needed, to continue to help deliver the high academic standards that the school prides itself on.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, well experienced and well qualified Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside a strong team to support the learning and progress of our students. The role could require you to work flexibly across the whole school in any year group, but your experience with particular year groups will be taken into account.

The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 as an essential requirement along with relevant experience. All staff are expected to contribute to the wider aspects of school life.

The hours for the role are currently 9am to 4pm, 4 days per week. There would be some flexibility on days moving forward, depending on the needs of the students. The role is term time only, but will include INSET days at the start/end of a term, which will be published in the school calendar in advance.

We are looking for the right candidate to fill this role to continue to deliver the excellent education upon which the school prides itself, as reflected in the recent ISI Inspection.

The closing date for applications is Midday Thursday 7th May 2026. Interviews to be held the following week, with an immediate start available.
