If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join Cobden Primary School on a fixed term basis until 23rd August 2026 for 24.5 hours per week.
We are seeking candidates that can demonstrate previous experience of working in a classroom setting, supporting pupils with confidence and care. The role of LSA within the school is an important and rewarding role, it provides vital support to those students who need it and the opportunity to access learning as part of the usual school day. We are looking to appoint well-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing high quality provision to our pupils and support to the Teachers within the school. The post holder will be required to work with whole classes, small groups and SEN pupils on an individual 1:1 basis.This is an excellent time to join our Trust as we enter the next stages of our development, everyone has a significant role to play in delivering high quality education to our pupils, find out more by taking a look at our Candidate Information Pack. The ideal candidate will have:
- A NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in Teaching and Learning
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of working in a classroom environment.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- The ability to contribute to the progression of learning in school
- The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroomIn return we offer:
