Learning Services Assistant Term Time 36.25 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm Term Time Only Start Date: 19th August 2026 Salary Scale point 8 £26,343 (Actual £22,342) Closing Date: 23rd June 26 Located 10 miles northwest of Manchester with excellent motorway access, The Sixth Form is a vibrant, highly aspirational, high achieving Sixth Form College of c. 1800 students. A modern building with fantastic facilities, it is located in the newly developed education sector of the town centre and offers a wide range of A Level and Level 3 BTEC programmes. The Sixth Form Bolton has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Services Assistant that will work as part of the Learning Services team to provide essential support to students with a range of developmental needs and/or disabilities. A full overview of the duties can be found in the enclosed Job Description. The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Provide help for students in navigating the building
  • Work closely with class teachers to facilitate students learning
  • Provide personal care to students as required
  • Assist in the process of evaluating/monitoring students' progress and ensuring the successful progression of the student through the curriculum
