Full Job Description
The Trust's vision and ethos is encapsulated in our motto 'Learning Together'. Our main aim is to work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for ensuring that every child and young person in our Trust receives an excellent education, achieves high outcomes and realises their potential. All members of staff work incredibly hard to provide the very best education for every child in our care.
We are seeking to appoint inspirational and passionate Learning Mentors on a permanent basis following the success of current post holders, who have recently secured promotions within the school.
This post presents an excellent opportunity for experienced Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, recent graduates, or individuals with experience of working with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, attachment needs and dyslexia, who are considering a career in education.
The successful candidates will have the potential to support and develop students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and succeed both in the classroom and through targeted small-group and one-to-one support.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time hours. Remuneration will be adjusted accordingly; the salary advertised is based on a full-time contract of 37 hours per week, term time plus 6 days.
We warmly welcome informal visits from prospective candidates. To arrange a visit or an informal discussion about the role, please contact the school on Headteacher@wolgarston.staffs.sch.uk
