Learner Data Services (LDS) Manager

As Learner Data Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing the Learner Data Services and Exams teamsEnsuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of student data and funding returns (ILR)Overseeing enrolment, curriculum setup, timetabling, registers, and data processesManaging data quality, resolving discrepancies, and implementing data cleansing processesEnsuring compliance with funding regulations (DfE, ILR, audit requirements)Supporting and overseeing examination processes in line with regulations such as JCQLeading preparation for audits and responding to data-related queriesProviding leadership, coaching, and development to the LDS teamWorking collaboratively with curriculum and senior leadership teamsDriving continuous improvement and efficiency in systems and processes

Strong leadership and line management experience
Experience working within Further Education or an educational setting
Strong knowledge of ILR, funding rules, and data compliance requirements
Advanced IT skills, including Excel and MIS systems (e.g., UNIT-e desirable)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindsetDesirable: Experience with FE MI systems such as UNIT-e
Knowledge of exam regulations (e.g., JCQ)
Degree or equivalent experience
