This is a varied and rewarding role within the Leadership & Organisational Development (L&OD) Team, supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of leadership, management and organisational development initiatives across Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The post holder will work with colleagues at all levels to develop leadership capability, support coaching and mentoring programmes, coordinate development activities and help deliver strategic workforce priorities. A key part of the role is working within the L&OD Engagement Team to transform workforce insight into meaningful action. You will analyse National Staff Survey, People Pulse and other workforce data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and translating complex information into engaging, accessible reports, presentations, dashboards and communications that support decision-making across the organisation. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, creative and analytical, with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders to cover maternity leave. You will be comfortable working with data, managing projects and developing innovative solutions that improve the experience of our people and ultimately the services we provide to patients. As a Leadership & Organisational Development Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our people, leaders and organisational culture. A significant element of the role will involve analysing workforce data and insight, particularly from the National Staff Survey and People Pulse surveys. You will work closely with the Senior L&OD BP to identify trends, themes and opportunities for improvement, transforming complex data into clear, engaging and accessible reports, presentations, dashboards and communications for leaders and colleagues across the Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is passionate about people development, employee engagement and organisational improvement., The post holder will support the delivery of the Trust's Leadership and Organisational Development agenda by coordinating and delivering projects, programmes and initiatives that enhance leadership capability, employee engagement and organisational culture. Workforce Insight and Engagement

  • Support the management, analysis and reporting of workforce insight data, including the National Staff Survey, NHS People Pulse and other employee engagement activities.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify themes, trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce engaging and accessible reports, presentations, dashboards, infographics and communications tailored to a range of audiences.
  • Support the development and implementation of staff survey action plans and associated improvement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with operational and corporate teams to ensure workforce insight informs decision-making and organisational priorities.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to increasing colleague engagement and participation.
  • Leadership and Organisational Development
  • Support the design, coordination and delivery of leadership, management and organisational development programmes and interventions.
  • Assist in the development and administration of coaching, mentoring and talent development initiatives.
  • Coordinate programme logistics, communications, resources and evaluation activities to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Support the implementation of leadership and organisational development strategies, frameworks and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of resources, toolkits and learning materials that support leadership and cultural development across the Trust.
  • Project Management and Service Improvement
  • Manage designated projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timescales and quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against project plans, escalating risks and issues where appropriate.
  • Collect, analyse and evaluate data to measure the effectiveness and impact of programmes and interventions.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support the implementation of innovative solutions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Working
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and stakeholders across the Trust.
  • Support engagement activities, workshops, focus groups and events designed to gather insight and promote organisational development initiatives.
  • Facilitate discussions and meetings, ensuring actions and outcomes are effectively captured and communicated.
  • Act as a professional and credible representative of the Leadership and Organisational Development Team.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support the delivery of workforce and organisational priorities.
  • Communication and Information Management
  • Develop clear and engaging communications that promote leadership, organisational development and employee engagement activity.
  • Translate complex information into concise and meaningful messages suitable for a range of audiences.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, presentations and papers for senior leaders, committees and working groups.
  • Ensure information is managed in accordance with organisational policies, data protection requirements and information governance standards.
  • Quality, Governance and Compliance
  • Ensure activities are delivered in line with Trust policies, procedures and governance requirements.
  • Support the collection and reporting of performance measures relating to leadership, organisational development and engagement activity.
  • Contribute to audits, evaluations and assurance processes as required.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant NHS workforce, leadership and organisational development priorities and best practice.
