Lead Technical Application Specialist - Agentic IAM

Within IAM Engineering, we're developing capabilities that help manage AI agents, machine identities and automated services across Lloyds Banking Group. As Agentic IAM Lead Technical Application Specialist , you'll lead a team responsible for building and operating the engineering services that govern these identities throughout their lifecycle. Working across security, engineering and architecture teams, you'll help ensure access is managed securely, consistently and at scale whilst supporting the adoption of emerging technologies across the Group. This role combines people leadership with technical delivery, leading engineers responsible for developing and operating services that support non-human identities, automated access processes and modern identity controls. Working closely with Product Owners, Architects and Security teams, you'll help translate business requirements into engineering outcomes, develop technical approaches and ensure services remain secure, resilient and well governed. • Experience leading and developing engineering teams, supporting both delivery and professional growth
• Experience in Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security or Enterprise Technology
• Strong technical background with a track record of delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with Product Owners, Architects and cross-functional delivery teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes and technical solutions
• Commitment to delivering secure, resilient and well-governed services
And it would be great if you had any of the following...
• Knowledge of platforms such as SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID or CyberArk
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies
• Experience adopting automation, API-driven integration and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Understanding of regulatory, risk and security requirements within large organisations
• Interest in emerging identity technologies, machine identities and automated services
• Experience supporting modern identity and access management solutions
