We have an opportunity for an inspiring and skilled Lead Teaching Assistant to join us at Linden Bridge School. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and as part of a wider school team, to raise the learning and attainment of pupils supporting them individually or in groups, so they can access all areas of the curriculum whilst always promoting our pupils' independence.,

• An informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by using specialised Special Educational Needs (SEN) strategies to support pupils individually, in small groups or as a whole class in their progress and learning
• Using their area(s) of expertise to contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities, and to plan their role in learning activities
• Organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment
• Attending to the pupils personal requirements and physical care while encouraging independence at all times
• Supporting pupils with universal and targeted support for all areas of their Educational and Health Care Plan (EHCP) - communication, interaction, well-being and motor skills
• Monitoring and evaluating student progress and reporting back to the relevant staff
• Direct the work, where relevant, of Special Needs Assistants in supporting learning
