Full Job Description

The Senior Teacher provides strategic and operational leadership of the Early Years Assessment & Observation service to secure high - quality, person - centred Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provision that complies with legislation and the ALN Code across settings and schools in Anglesey. The postholder oversees the preparation, maintenance and review of Individual Development Plans (IDPs), coordinates moderati on panels and forums, and ensures effective multi - agency collaboration and smooth transitions into school. They manage the Early Years Assessment (EYA) team and centres , model and assure effective practice, and lead professional development, advice and early - intervention support for practitioners, providers and families. The role drives quality assurance through monitoring impact, outcomes and value for money, leading data and reporting, and embedding consistent standards. Working closely with educational psyc hology and ALN & Inclusion colleagues, the postholder
contributes to strategic planning, service reviews and resource/budget decisions, and acts as the primary point for stakeholder engagement and parental liaison, resolving concerns in line with policy .

Salary: 33731.00 - 51942.00 GBP per Year
