Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) to join our maternity team at the Rosie.
This is a key leadership and support role focused on enhancing the quality of care, supporting midwives for promoting a positive working environment through the A-EQUIP model (Advocating for Education and Quality Improvement)., Provide restorative clinical supervision to midwives and maternity staff
Support continuous professional development and reflective practice
Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within maternity services
Promote safe, evidence-based practice and a culture of learning
Offer guidance and support in complex clinical and professional situations
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for women and families
Registered Midwife with current professional registrationo Qualified Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA)
Significant post-registration experience in midwifery practice
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
Passionate about staff wellbeing, development, and high-quality patient care
Ability to facilitate reflective discussions and support practice improvement
