An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Community Children's Nurse to work in the special school nursing team as a clinical lead. The role will be integrated within the existing Specialist Community Children's Nursing Team, who are part of an integrated network of services for children and young people in Bexley and Greenwich providing high quality specialist child centred care. The team of specialist and generic children's community nurses provides skilled, high quality, comprehensive nursing care to children and families with nursing needs in their own homes or community settings.,

  • To lead, and oversee the daily operations of the special school nursing team.
  • To create, and implement an annual training plan for both special school, and mainstream school staff for clinical interventions.
  • To role model good clinical practice, while managing junior staff and supporting a complex caseload of children and young people.
