We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lead Nurse for E-Rostering and Safe Care - a key role in driving high-quality, efficient rostering practices across the Trust. As the E-Rostering Lead Nurse, you will lead the day-to-day delivery and development of our E-Rostering system, RL Datix, ensuring that services are supported to achieve effective workforce planning and safe staffing outcomes. You will manage the E-Rostering team, provide expert guidance and training, support system enhancements, and work collaboratively with operational and clinical teams to improve roster quality and workforce utilisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about continuous improvement and delivering excellent customer service., You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of a high-quality E-Rostering service that supports the achievement of national and local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Managing and developing the E-Rostering team, ensuring effective workload management and service delivery.
  • Designing, promoting, and delivering comprehensive E-Rostering training programmes.
  • Acting as the Trust's expert point of contact for E-Rostering advice, troubleshooting, and system support.
  • Supporting compliance with the Trust's E-Rostering and Safe staffing policies through regular review of processes and practices.
  • Analysing rostering activity, workforce demand, and establishment data to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Producing accurate and timely workforce reports, dashboards, and KPI information to support operational decision-making.
  • Providing workforce data and analysis to Groups, highlighting trends, risks, and establishment concerns.
  • Conducting data quality audits and supporting system upgrades, developments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting best practice in roster management and supporting managers to maximise workforce utilisation
