Full Job Description

To act as clinical expert in maternity ultrasound service at King's College Hospital. Taking an active role in teaching and leading the team. To take responsibility and manage the provision of high-quality ultrasound service and patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement., To proactively and positively contribute to the successful performance of the trust aligning to the national screening programme including Down 's syndrome screening quality assurance support service (DQASS).

As the lead specialist for the Maternity ultrasound service, you will ensure there is adequate service provision in place at all times and plan the ultrasound service to meet the demands of the maternity department. The post holder will be an experienced sonographer who is accessible and responsive as a leader.
