Lead Manufacturing Manager

As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will lead, develop, and optimise all manufacturing activities to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production. You will be responsible for ensuring performance to plan, driving continuous improvement, and building a high-performing team within the manufacturing facility. • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production targets
• Manage labour, materials, and machinery to deliver the production plan
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all standards
• Lead, coach, and develop managers, team leaders, and frontline colleagues
• Monitor and drive performance against KPIs including productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, and structured methodologies
• Lead operational reviews and ensure strong governance of processes and standards
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams
• Manage budgets, resources, and cost controls to meet financial targets
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and improvement projects
  
  Proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a complex environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
• Good understanding of production planning, resource management, and operational delivery
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
