Full Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in the smooth running, safety and performance of our Leeds City Centre campus. This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled engineer with strong Mechanical or Electrical expertise to take ownership of a modern, high-profile building and help deliver an exceptional environment for our students, staff and visitors. What you'll be doing
- Leading planned and reactive M&E maintenance across the City Campus
- Managing inspections, testing, servicing and compliance in line with SFG20, legislation and warranty requirements
- Overseeing contractors, reviewing RAMS, issuing permits to work, and ensuring safe systems of work
- Keeping CAFM systems fully updated and accurate
- Supporting campus operations including security coordination, classrooms/event setups and assisting with small project delivery
- Acting as a key point of contact for facilities issues, visitors, emergency services and operational queries, This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University's City Centre Campus in Leeds City Centre. This is a site-based role, with an expectation to be on site Monday to Friday. This advert will close once we receive a suitable number of applications. - A technically qualified Mechanical or Electrical engineer (HND/Degree desirable)
- Strong experience in a fast-paced, reactive estates or facilities environment
- Excellent communication, customer service and front-of-house skills
- Confident managing contractors, compliance, life safety systems and H&S processes
