Full Job Description
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic musculoskeletal outpatient Physiotherapist with Hydrotherapy training? This substantive role offers a great opportunity to lead the Hydrotherapy service, delivering high level patient care both in the water and on land, within the Brownsword Therapies Centre., In this role, you will;
- To manage hydrotherapy to ensure safe treatment of patients in and out of water.
- To be the Specialist Physiotherapist for Hydrotherapy to facilitate movement and independence for patients with a range of complex musculoskeletal conditions.
- To be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, delivering, evaluating and developing the Hydrotherapy service throughout the Trust, on a day to day basis.
- Hold an individual complex caseload of hydrotherapy and musculoskeletal patients.
- Provide supervision and training to the outpatient Physiotherapy team.
- Report on progress of ongoing service projects relating to local, divisional and trust wide objectives.
- Deputise for Deputy Head of Therapies - Outpatients in their absence.
