UHSussex NHS Trust seeks to employan 8c Head of Efficiencyto support delivery of theTrusts£120m efficiency programme.

The Trust has an ambitious and challenging Efficiency and Improvement Programmethatrequires continuous development in the way services are delivered to further enhance patient experience, quality of care and outcomes and ensures the Trust becomes financially sustainable.The rolewill focuson standardisation, eliminating waste, increasing productivity, improving our processes and workforce redesign., Leading a teamto deliver efficiency savings and projectsaligned to theefficiency programme, providingexpertiseand guidance,reporting into theDirector of Efficiency and Productivity.

TheHead of Efficiencywill work closely withtheotherHeads of Efficiencywithin theEfficiency andProductivity team, Efficiency/Finance/HRBusiness Partners and the Trust's ExecutiveDirectorsand Seniorleadership teams, utilising project management skills to enable delivery of the divisional workstream outcomes within agreed quality,costand time parameters.

As well as being able to communicate effectively, this rolerequiresexperience and skills inmanagingdifficult conversationsandability toprovide challengeto status quo whenthere are barriers to acceptance of change.

The successful candidate will need to be an expert with data analysismethodologyand able to present clearaccuratesummary and recommendations to Executives, Divisionalteamsand Directors through a variety of mediums.

Integral to the role is the delivery of both financial and non-financial benefitsto a variety of audiences, including front line staff, divisional and seniorleadersand Executives.

You will be a strong team player and will value the importance of fostering effective relationships and achieving results in partnership with others.
