My client is a leading airports group who are looking for an experienced construction lawyer to join their in-house legal team and take a lead on all construction related legal matters.
This is a growth role and has arisen because of a significant uptick in the number of large-scale projects at the airport. Reporting into the General Counsel, the role will provide legal advice, primarily to the Construction team, Procurement and the wider business as required, in respect of construction and commercial matters of significant value and complexity.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years' post-qualified experience gained in construction law, acquired in private practice and/or within an in-house legal team. This person will be a construction law subject matter expert, with deep expertise in drafting and negotiating various construction contracts, including NEC, FIDIC, JCT, EPC, and framework agreements. Contentious construction experience is also beneficial.
If you are an experienced construction lawyer looking to join a complex and exciting business in a key stage of its growth, please do get in touch: Ellie at MRA Search.
