Job DescriptionJob Description:Shire Healthcare are working with a leading provider of children's care, specialist education and schools recruiting for a Lead Clinician (Psychologist, Psychotherapist, OT, SaLT) to be based in Hampshire. The role:The successful candidate will be appointed as the Lead Clinician to work in a specialist school based near Southampton. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. You will work with children and young people in an educational setting who present a complexity of needs including autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Contract Type - permanent (term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)Hours - Full timeSalary - £50,000 - £60,00 FTE Experience required:Due to the seniority of the role, candidates applying will have extensive, experience working with
children who present with learning disabilities, autism and /or developmental trauma, Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body required e.g. HCPC registered Psychologists, UKCP accredited Psychotherapists Experience required:Candidates applying will have a recognised degree in recognised degree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language therapy, Psychology or Psychotherapy and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body, e.g. HCPC/UKCP/BACP valid along with previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs such as neuro and/or trauma.
