Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urology

The Lead CNS for Urology services will work collaborative with the Trust Lead Cancer make sure that Urology CNS team provide appropriate information to people affected by cancer, and access a range of cancer resources and services (financial, information, support, etc.), receive appropriately timed information and support and have access to a specialist cancer nurse throughout their entire cancer journey from diagnosis, through treatment to Living with and Beyond Cancer or end of life care. The Lead CNS for Urology service will actively engage with the, The Trust Lead Cancer Nurse, cancer management team, the wider trust, RM Partners cancer alliance and other stakeholders as appropriate to continuously raise the profile of cancer nursing, promote patient centred services for patients affected by cancer, contribute to cancer care within their speciality and ensure high quality cancer care.
