Full Job Description
Help shape the future of child protection in Cheshire East.
As part of our ambitious Families First reforms and service redesign, we're creating a brand-new Lead Child Protection Practitioner role within our new Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced child protection professional to be at the forefront of transformation, acting as a centre of excellence and knowledge hub for child protection practice across the workforce.
We're looking for a confident and influential practitioner with child protection expertise, strong decision-making skills, and a passion for developing others. You'll lead on complex child protection decision-making, provide expert advice and guidance to practitioners and partners, and help drive consistently high standards of safeguarding practice that keep children at the heart of every decision.
If you want to combine practice leadership with the opportunity to shape and influence a new service, this is an exciting time to join us.
We're recruiting to roles across children's services
Join us and together we can make a difference
With strong investment, renewed energy and a clear sense of purpose across our services, we're reimagining how we support children, young people and families in Cheshire East.
Together, we're building something special - a service that is ambitious for our children, relational and built to last.
To help bring that vision to life, we're now seeking exceptional Heads of Service across a range of roles.
We're looking for senior leaders who want to make a meaningful, lasting impact and help shape what comes next for a generation.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape strategic direction and to play a pivotal role in the next chapter for children and families in Cheshire East.
