What does the role of Lead Care Practitioner involve?

As a Lead Care Practitioner you will manage a small team of Support Worker's ensuring each shift runs smoothly and effectively.

You will be responsible for conducting and properly recording regular supervisions for all team members in accordance with current guidelines.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years right to work in the UK due to training and continuity of care requirements., If you have experience leading a care team or a minimum of one year's previous experience of working with adults with severe learning difficulties and feel you are ready for the new step in your career apply today., Minimum of one year's previous experience of working with adults with severe learning difficulties and who can present challenging behaviours.

- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties

- A natural respect for the dignity and individuality of each resident and an ability to promote these values within your team of staff

- A valid current driving licence

Desirable Criteria

- Previous experience of managing a small team of staff and delegation of workload

- Previous experience of good supervision and supervision training.

- Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent
