We are looking for a Business Functional & Data Analyst to join our team in Technology Data & Innovation (TDI) - Risk, Finance, Treasury (RFT) - Accounting Domain, to work on Strategic Data initiatives across the domain, to lead business and product onboarding onto critical platforms in the Accounting architecture, to support existing users with business process improvement/optimization/remediation and to perform discovery analysis for new demands. You will be responsible for the end-to-end data analysis, including the alignment of newly sourced data, checks during the different process steps and of the reported data. You will have the opportunity to partner with Finance, Risk and Treasury, including Front office systems to analyse and support their requirements and translate into business processes. In addition, you will work with IT to specify the requirements and to ensure that they are technically integrated and implemented correctly. To fulfil this role, you'll have a detailed understanding of the banking products, business content and the calculation / reporting requirements as well as their conceptual and technical representation including strategic data sourcing and modelling within the corresponding technical reporting and calculation frameworks.   Excellent analytical skills coupled with experience in high volume data (Essential)
• IT analytical skills (SQL, Excel (Essential))
• Additional People and IT Skills - Python, People Management (Beneficial)
• Experience in Financial Control in an investment banking environment
• An understanding of Investment Banking Products and Accounting standards
• A good working knowledge and understanding of front to back system architecture within an investment bank
