Full Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Asset Management Systems & Assurance Manager to lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Asset Management System (AMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 55001, IAM best practice and organisational objectives. The successful candidate will provide strategic governance and independent assurance across asset management policies, processes, systems, data and controls., We are looking for a highly experienced asset management professional who can drive compliance, maturity improvement, risk reduction and the delivery of value from asset management activities. This role will support organisational decision-making through robust assurance processes, governance frameworks and performance reporting.,
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Asset Management System (AMS).
- Ensure alignment of the AMS with ISO 55001, IAM best practice and organisational objectives.
- Establish and maintain asset management governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and controls.
- Develop and deliver assurance programmes to assess compliance, effectiveness and maturity of asset management processes, systems and information.
- Plan and coordinate internal and external audits, maturity assessments and management reviews, ensuring findings are effectively addressed and closed out.
- Monitor compliance with asset management policies, standards and regulatory requirements, identifying risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide independent assurance over asset data, lifecycle planning, risk management, decision-making practices and asset management processes.
- Produce management information, assurance reports, performance dashboards and executive briefings, while facilitating ISO 55001 certification activities and organisational maturity assessments.
Expert working knowledge of asset management principles and their application within a Total Facilities Management (TFM) or large estate environment. - Expert knowledge of Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) development and delivery to ISO 55001.
- Strong understanding of asset performance, lifecycle planning, asset risk and investment decision-making.
- Ability to translate technical asset information into strategic and financial insight.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- IAM Certificate or Diploma in Asset Management.
- ISO 55001 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor training, or experience supporting audits and certification activities.
