DWP. Digital with Purpose.
We are looking for two skilled agile leaders to empower our high-performing teams to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions as we transform the future of DWP services used by millions of people.
Our Working Age Services Team drive change across the department, delivering smarter solutions for claimants, landlords and DWP agents. In this role you'll get the best out of a team that is focused on products and systems which help people into work, collaborating with colleagues across the UK. You'll travel to our other digital hubs, but you won't incur any costs.
Our Hosting Services Team is the powerhouse behind DWP's hosting platforms. In this role you'll help our experts design, develop and run our on-premise and cloud hosting estate, leading teams to improve the way we work whilst embracing agile principles.
Delivering with People.
You'll be leading teams to create world class digital solutions. You'll clear obstacles, encourage continuous improvement, and make sure everything runs smoothly using Agile best practices.
With your expertise in agile and lean methodologies, you'll lead by example, coaching delivery specialists while managing complex projects that involve multiple teams and senior stakeholders. Your ability to build momentum, navigate competing demands, and foster collaboration across different services and products will be essential.
You'll handle high-risk challenges, manage complicated dependencies, and act as a key escalation point to remove blockers.
Developing a World-Class Practice.
Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends.
You're a leader. You'll support and develop your team, providing mentorship, regular feedback, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture rooted in agile principles.
You'll tackle obstacles head-on, fine-tune workflows, and champion a culture where continuous improvement is embedded in everything the team does. Your leadership will keep delivery moving efficiently, creating the momentum needed for impactful, lasting change.
