Cygnet Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Administrator to become a valued member of our team at Cygnet Hospital Oldbury. Cygnet Hospital Oldbury is our state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women, in the West Midlands. The service has two wards, a 12 bed PICU ward and a 15 bed Acute ward. Cygnet Hospital Oldbury has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and supports the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment. Were focused on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them. Individuals can step down through the pathways available within Cygnet services., Helping others improve and turn their lives around theres no better feeling. Be a part of it., Youll be working 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday either 08:00 AM till 04:00 PM or 09:00 AM till 05:00 PM.
- Oversee a team of administration staff to ensure the department runs smoothly
- Line manage & support staff to develop a highly skilled, quality team
- Maintain processes & systems and work to achieve their continual improvement
- Manage operational resources in a cost-effective manner
- Cultivate excellent working relationships with all team members & other departments. < /li>
- Lead and supervise the administration team, providing training, support, and performance management.
- Liaise with the clinical manager and hospital manager to complete clinical leadership/admin tasks as directed
- Oversee the smooth running of administrative functions across the hospital.
- Support with arranging and coordinating annual leave across the administrative team.
- Complete 1-2-1 meetings, performance reviews and staffing meetings.
An excellent administrator with a track record in managing a team - Experienced in the healthcare sector with a knowledge of mental health
- Flexible & organised with a strong understanding of office working procedures
- Able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
- An approachable leader & strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
