LCO EPR Backfill - Senior Data Engineer

To be a Trust specialist on designing and developing against Trust Business Intelligence products and Data Warehousing technology. You will provide expertise in SQL Server, modelling and report development, The post holder will work with relevant stakeholders to plan, design, and implement Business Intelligence solutions to underpin effective decision making and improve clinical quality. To support the development of products and services using data warehouse and data lake platforms. To use advanced technical and analytical skills to ensure the Information Services department delivers its objectives of developing a Trust wide data warehouse and sophisticated reporting service. To proactively seek sophisticated solutions to Information and reporting problems that ensure the department can evolve in an increasingly demanding climate. The post holder must communicate complex analytical concepts to other Information staff and to also provide summary of these concepts to other staff groups from a non-IT background. To train and support colleagues in the Data & Analytics team and beyond in new technologies, newly developed reports / models.

• Along with strong technical and analytical skills, experience of data warehouse development within Epic Caboodle is desirable alongside Epic Caboodle and Clarity Certifications.
• Experience and knowledge of Acute, Community, and Mental Health Trust NHS data sets, standards, and returns
• CI/CD development practices, agile methodology, and DevOps
  
  The post holder will play a key role in developing and maintaining the Trust Data Management and visualisation platforms used by Digital Services and the wider organisation. The post-holder will support the specification and development of data flows, models and reports, with a particular focus on our Trust data warehouse (Epic Caboodle) .
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience in one of the largest Trusts in Europe with Epic EPR.
