2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.We are recruiting for a laundry operative to work as part of a team in a busy Laundry production plant handling various items of linen for the Health Care Sector and maintaining very high standards on all aspects of the laundering process.This role is a permanent full time vacancy working Mon 0800 - 1630, Tues to Thurs 0800 - 1600, Fri 0800 - 1530.What you'll be doing:To be to work as part of a very busy team, loading industrial washing machines, processing linen by item, packing onto pallets before sending it to the next department of the laundry service. Working to tight schedules ensuring all linen targets are met.To be constantly vigilant in identifying linen items needing
rewashing and maintain existing quality control measures.Operating large scale industrial processing machinery on a frequent daily basis.To assist in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the department, ensuring that only approved working methods are followed.To work alongside the Supervisor, looking at ways of improving existing work patterns, making suggestions at team meetings.To complete any paperwork associated with the job.To work in other departments in the Production Plant as and when required and to take part in on-going training to ensure an efficient service is achieved.To carry out any additional duties, as required by the Laundry Manager.What We Offer:Generous Annual Leave: 26 Days + Bank Holidays with the opportunity to buy or sell leave.Company PensionOnsite Childcare FacilitiesCycle to Work Scheme:Employee Assistance ProgrammeDiscounts on travel, accommodation, airport parking, holidays, skiing, and travel extras.Access to Blue Light
